Welcome to Cross Lake Band Health Services

Cross Lake Band of Indians (CLBOI) is the governing entity for the members of Cross Lake. Currently there is a population of over 8000 band members. The Chief and Council are the political entity who advocate for the people with respect to health services offered on and off reserve.

Our overall goals are to provide timely access and quality health services that are member centered: prevent illness and injury while promoting physical, mental, and spiritual wellness; provide qualified and committed health staff and professionals to work with individuals and families when seeking answers to their health concerns; and collaborate with community and regional organizations to provide comprehensive access to health and social services.

CLBOI received a Federal Aboriginal Health Transition Fund for its submission titled “Integrated Health Systems Model Initiative” and extended through Health Services Integrated Funds. With the goal of the Integrated Initiatives to improve the health of Cross Lake people by reflective of current and future health needs.
